Bronze sculpture of Ducks

They sit on the table
frozen in flight
those ducks as they head for the reeds.
Just Ducks…
Not eagles to soar to the heights
Just Ducks as they glide into home.

Together, a pair,
they go toward their goal
Wings almost touching in flight
Protecting and guiding each other they go.
Together
Partners in life.

Well, that’s us.
Just Ducks…
But like eagles we soar
Constant and true to our goal
Wings almost touching in flight
Joy in the Living
Joy in the Flight
Together
Partners in Life.
